JJ Redick and his family are among hundreds of people whose homes were destroyed by the fires that ravaged the city. Amid the ashes, NBA jerseys collected by his children from the players, and Knox and Kai will be able to start their collection again with the jerseys of Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul.
“They are big NBA fans”explained the Lakers coach about his two boys. “I hosted a podcast at home for two years, all the players went through it. They either got a jersey or an autographed card, and they lost everything… It was nice of them to do that. »

This weekend, this same Redick explained that part of his life, and that of his family, had gone up in smoke… “Everything we owned that was important to us in almost 20 years of living together and 10 years as parents was in this house. There are some things that you cannot replace, that will never be replaced…”
Wembanyama knew that the Redick family had lost everything in their house fire, and he didn't hesitate to make this nice gesture. “ Chris asked me earlier if it was okay for me to do this. I didn't know they were such big fans, but JJ is someone I like and has been directly affected by this.”recalled Wemby. “I told myself right away that if I could make these kids’ day better, I would. »
