A few weeks after the end of the World Cup, FIBA returned this weekend to the Philippines for the Cebu Masters, a new stage of the FIBA 3×3 World Tour 2023. In competition, 14 cities each representing a country, and for the first time this season, it was Miami which won, 22-19 against Vienna.

Author of 9 points and 4 rebounds in the final, the former Kings shooter accumulated 44 points and 10 assists throughout the tournament. This week, Fredette explained that he no longer dreamed of the NBA, and barring any incident, he would have to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games at the head of this 3×3 team.
“3×3 is fun. It’s a great opportunity and it’s really fun to practice. I feel really comfortable in the 3×3 now. It’s great to play in front of the fans. We received more or less warm welcomes in certain cities, but here it is very warm,” he said about welcoming the Filipinos.
