After the transfers of Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, then the presentation of the new faces of the club, such as Collin Sexton and Ochai Agbaji, the Jazz have now formalized the staff of Will Hardythe club’s rookie coach.
The first major information is the return of Jeff Hornacek in a consulting role. Player under the orders of the legend Jerry Sloan between 1993 and 2000, then assistant in the staff of Tyrone Corbin between 2011 and 2013 after the retirement of Jerry Sloan, the former coach of the Suns and the Knicks therefore signs a return to his roots. No doubt his vast experience in the league will surely benefit the inexperienced Will Hardy.
For the staff, management has bet on continuity, since Will Hardy’s three main assistants were already at the club: Alex Jensen for ten seasons, Lamar Skeeter for six seasons and Bryan Bailey for three seasons.
The staff will also consist of Jason Terry, also hired as an assistant in July, after an experience as a “head coach” last year on the bench of Grand Rapid Gold, the G-League club affiliated with the Nuggets.
