Jazz jersey sponsor raises $50 million in donations

It is with the feeling of duty accomplished that the leaders 5 For The Fight announced that they had decided to remove the patch present on Jazz jerseys since 2017. As a sponsor, this non-profit organization invited spectators to donate 5 dollars for the fight against cancer, and it was given the objective of reaching $50 million in donations. It’s done, and management has therefore chosen to exchange this place on the jerseys for a permanent presence in the Delta Center, the Jazz venue.

“With the help of Utah Jazz fans, partners and the community, 5 For The Fight has surpassed the $50 million milestone. “It was an ambitious goal we set when we announced the jersey crest,” said Mike Maughan, co-founder of 5 For The Fight, in A press release. “It was extraordinary to see the entire community rally behind the cause and get involved. 5 For the Fight looks forward to our continued partnership with the Utah Jazz to continue raising funds for cancer research.”

From now on, there will be a 5 For The Fight location near the entrance to the room, and the public will still be able to make a $5 donation in honor of a loved one fighting against the disease.

As a result of this withdrawal, from Thursday, Jazz leaders will reveal the name of the new sponsor who will be present on the jerseys of Lauri Markkanen and his teammates.
