On trial during training camp, Jaylen Hoard only needed a few friendlies to land a one-year contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv. The French interior, trained in the United States, will thus have his first professional experience in Europe.

Undrafted when he left Wake Forest, Jaylen Hoard spent his first three professional years between the NBA, in Portland then Oklahoma City, and the G-League. With each time, a handful of matches played in the NBA.
Too bad the son of Antwon and Katia Foucade did not find a contract during the summer in the NBA, because he had shone in the freewheeling end of the Thunder season: 22 points and 14.5 rebounds on average over the four last outings of the campaign, including a record high 24 points and 21 rebounds (!).
