While Ice Cube is convinced that the NBA is doing everything to weigh down its league by 3 x 3, the rapper/producer has decided to export the All-Star Game, but also the final. This Saturday, the two matches will take place in London, at the O2 Arena, and the BIG3 star match will have a surprise guest: Jaylen Brown!
The Celtics full-back will play for a good cause: supporting the local charity, London Youth, which helps struggling young Londoners through its network of community organisations. In his press releasethe BIG3 undertakes to pay an amount equivalent to Brown’s donation.
At the All-Star Game, Jaylen Brown will be surrounded by Jodie Meeks, Mike Taylor, Glen Rice Jr., Earl Clark, Ryan Carter, Leandro Barbosa, Gerald Green, Jonathon Simmons, Frank Nitty and Jason Richardson. Scheduled for 6:00 p.m. local time, the All-Star Game will be followed by the Big3 final, which pits the Triplets of Joe Johnson and coach Lisa Leslie against the Enemies of Nick Young and coach Gibert Arenas.
