James Harden is living his best life in China where he is welcomed like a rock star as part of his promotional tour with adidas. This is all the more true since he hit hard on Daryl Morey, sworn enemy of the Chinese after his pro-Hong Kong tweet in 2019, and Harden went even further on Wednesday in his declaration of love.
“Every time I come here, there’s such love, it’s crazy… You know what I mean? » asks the 2018 MVP. “I think they deserve to see me play here. Love is always crazy here”.
If he refuses to show up at Sixers camp, can Harden still play overseas? According to Philadelphia Inquirer, the new collective agreement forbids it. According to the regulations, Harden would be in violation if he signed with another professional team and remained more than 30 days after the start of his final year with the Sixers.
The year of the lockout, in 2011, NBA stars had left to play abroad, like Tony Parker in France, but their contracts were on hold.
