Jamal Murray still stuck in the infirmary

Absent against Wolves, Jamal Murray missed his fourth straight game. The Nuggets playmaker is affected in two places: his left ankle (sprained) and his right knee (which is swollen). Before the clash, Michael Malone specified that the reigning champion 'just isn't ready to play at the level needed'.

The Canadian even apologized for not being able to hold his place, therefore for letting Nikola Jokic and his teammates fight against Anthony Edwards and his gang.

“I said he didn’t have to apologize. He doesn't get hurt on purpose. And his health is much more important than a victory right now,” explain his coach. “I have said it several times: I have confidence in this group. You can beat anyone if you're healthy, because you've done it before. »

A return before the playoffs

Nikola Jokic diminished by a painful right wrist and Jamal Murray absent, Rudy Gobert and the Wolves took the opportunity to win and regain control of the Western Conference.

There are eight games left in the final two weeks of the regular season for Denver. Can we hope to see the playmaker again in a few days? “I think he will come back before the start of the playoffs”assures Michael Malone.
