THE Hawks have not been at their best since the beginning of December (eight defeats in eleven matches), but the good news is that Jalen Johnson will soon be able to strengthen them.
According to ESPN, the return of the 20th choice of the 2021 Draft should therefore occur during next week. Potentially as early as Tuesday in Chicago, while he has been cleared to practice normally by the franchise.
A season synonymous with explosion
Injured in his left wrist last month, the 22-year-old winger was slowed down in full swing, even though he had made a great start to the season replacing John Collins: 14.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 interceptions and 1.0 average against, 59% on shots (including 43% on 3-pointers) and 76% on throws!
Now a major element of the future ofAtlanta, just like Trae Young or Onyeka Okongwu, Jalen Johnson is one of the nice surprises of this start of the year. His return can only do good for Quin Snyder's men, currently 11th in the Eastern Conference (12-17) and suffering since his injury.
