As has been the case for several weeks, this Monday evening saw several franchises activate the options of several young players. The biggest overtime tour takes place in Houston with Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, Jabari Smith Jr. and Tari Eason.
The first two saw the last year of their contract, the fourth therefore, activated, while this concerns the third for the next two. The Rockets quartet is now under contract in Texas until 2025.
On the Washington side, same thing, indicates The Athletic, with the fourth year of Corey Kispert validated, as well as the third of Patrick Baldwin Jr. and Johnny Davis. Thus, the three players will be with the Wizards until the end of the 2024/25 season.
The Clippers, who have just recorded the arrival of James Harden, also activated the fourth season of Bones Hyland, also drafted in 2021, like Jalen Green and Corey Kispert.
Same for New York with another player from the 2021 vintage: Quentin Grimes. The starting back of the Knicks, in difficulty since the start of the year, is now under contract until 2025.
