Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle guide the Knicks against the Raptors

We meet once again. Three weeks after reaching an agreement for a transfer centered around OG Anunoby and the duo RJ BarrettImmanuel QuickleyTHE Knicks welcomed the Raptorsand it was the first named who managed to win without trembling (126-100).

As usual, Julius Randle (18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists) and above all Jalen Brunson (38 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds) showed the way to new Yorkwho broke away in the second half, in the wake of Brunson, his – future – All-Star leader.

A success which cannot be contested, even if Toronto would obviously have liked the return to Madison Square Garden of Barrett (20 points, 8 rebounds) and Quickley (12 points, 11 assists) to take place in a completely different way.

TO REMEMBER

Jalen Brunson still hot, Julius Randle sees triple. Fourth game in a row with at least 30 points from Jalen Brunson, who is definitely doing what is necessary to ensure his place in the All-Star Game. Untenable throughout the evening against his ex-double, Immanuel Quickley, the leader was able to receive valuable help – no pun intended – from Precious Achiuwa and especially from Julius Randle, author of his first triple-double of the season . Enough to allow the Knicks to win easily, despite their 22 lost balls compensated by a great general skill (55%) and a strong domination on the rebound (61-31).

The reunion evening. Three weeks after this famous transfer which saw OG Anunoby, RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and Precious Achiuwa change teams, Knicks and Raptors found themselves in New York. The opportunity for Barrett and Quickley to receive a warm welcome from Madison Square Garden, as well as a video from the franchise that drafted them, even if that was not enough to play a nasty trick on their ex. It must be said that the Brunson/Randle duo took it upon themselves to remind them that, since their departure and the arrival of Anunoby, the Knicks are doing even better collectively: 9 victories and 2 defeats!
