Jae Crowder relaunching with the Kings?

Reinforcement for the Kingscurrently in a bad situation (four defeats in a row) and poorly placed in the rankings (12th in the West with 8 victories and 10 defeats). ESPN reports, in fact, that Jae Crowder is very close to joining the Californian franchise, which still had a free place in its squad.

Passed by the Bucks last season (for 6.2 points and 3.2 rebounds on average at 35% at 3-points), the 34-year-old winger had not managed to find a team since, despite a try at… Sacramento during September.

An experienced and characterful player, who has had two appearances in the Finals (2020, 2021) in twelve years in the league, he would come and sit on the bench to blow away DeMar DeRozan and Keegan Murray on positions 3/4.

Renowned for his defense and his outside shooting, Jae Crowder should then face competition from Kevin Huerter, Trey Lyles and Doug McDermott under the orders of Mike Brown with the Kings. Once his contract is formalized, he could be available this evening with the Wolves, while DeMar DeRozan is already out because of his back pain and that Trey Lyles will miss three to four weeks due to a calf strain.
