Jae Crowder is slowly getting closer to a return

As Giannis Antetokounmpo sounds the alarm, Jae Crowder finally sees the end of the tunnel. After aggravating his left adductor injury on November 11 against Orlando, the Bucks winger was forced to undergo surgery, which resulted in a long convalescence.

It has now been more than a month since he got back on his feet and a new step towards his upcoming return to play will be taken this week since he must participate in three five-on-five training sessions.

The winger no longer feels any pain, so it's a brand new Jae Crowder who is preparing to attack the year 2024.

“I know that in the long term, I will be in a better situation than before,” did he declare. “I felt like I was playing good basketball before. I think I will play even better after this injury. This is what I really, honestly feel, deep down. I don't know how soon. I need to get back in the saddle, and I will be subject to a minutes restriction when I return. But I'm going to stay the course and stay very happy and grateful to be able to put on a jersey again and play a few minutes, hoping that everything is taken care of.”

Jae Crowder remained cautious about the potential date of his return to official competition. The veteran does not want to skip steps, and may have to go through a few more before finding Giannis Antetokounmpo and his teammates.

“No, I don’t know yet. You just have to keep ticking the boxes and not look too far ahead.”he added.
