It’s Desmond Bane’s turn to join the Grizzlies infirmary…

It's no longer a black cat roaming Memphis, but a group of black cats. In the third quarter of the game against the Clippers, Desmond Bane thus stepped on Kawhi Leonard's foot while going to the circle.

Result ? A nice sprain and a limping return to the locker room for the back of Tennesse…

For the moment, we still don't know the seriousness of the problem but it's another injury for the Grizzlies (13th in the West with 14 wins for 24 losses) who certainly didn't need that. Steven Adams And Ja Morant are already packages for the whole season, Brandon Clarke has not yet returned from his serious injury, Marcus Smart is on the sidelines for several weeks, Derrick Rose can't recover from a hamstring problem and Santi Aldama is also absent at the moment…

Now with Desmond Bane, seven major players from Taylor Jenkins' rotation are in the infirmary.

“Our guys have been incredible through this. I always talk about their state of mind. How they continue to fight. The circumstances are really very complicated at the moment, that's for sure. But their attitude was phenomenal” concludes the Grizzlies coach.
