In the G-League, the Kings are betting on Quinton Crawford

THE Stockton Kings have decided to bet on a rookie to lead their G-League team and The Athletic announces that former Suns assistant Quinton Crawford has been chosen. A former Arizona player, he quickly left the field to focus on the technical side, first in video and then as a coach.

Aged only 33, the latter knows the house well since it was with the Kings that he made his debut, in 2015, as a video assistant.

He then followed Frank Vogel's path, joining him in Orlando the following year where he was then promoted to lead video coordinator, then assistant, before following him again to the Lakers from 2019 to 2022. After an experience within Jason Kidd's staff at the Mavs, he reunited with Frank Vogel at the Suns last season.

The ouster of the Phoenix coach offers Quinton Crawford a first opportunity to take charge of a team, where everything began for him in the NBA. Quinton Crawford replaces Lindsey Harding, who left to join JJ Redick's staff at the Lakers.
