After a lackluster season in Atlanta, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot prepares for the challenge offered to him by the Suns for the upcoming season. The Frenchman is coming out of a complicated 2021-2022 exercise, and there he has a great opportunity to show again what he is capable of, undoubtedly in a role of “3-and-D” off the bench. Provided that his invitation to the camp turns into a guaranteed contract.
“TLC” entered the heart of the matter by playing his first preseason game in the victory over the Lakers (7 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 against in 18 minutes), and he continues to tame his teammates and his new team’s playing philosophy during training sessions.
“Watching CP and talking with him was very helpful to me. The process was also difficult to learn our way of playing. Here, there are many varieties whether offensively or defensively.
