Illinois native EJ Liddell joins Bulls

Chicago has decided to bet on local fiber to complete its squad. After Talen Horton-Tucker, it is another player from Illinois, EJ Liddellwho thus signed a contract with the Bulls.

For him too, it is not a guaranteed contract, but rather an invitation to the “training camp”, which allows the franchise to control his destiny… and probably then to integrate him into its franchise in the G-League.

The former Ohio State player, 41st pick in the 2022 Draft, should therefore play in the antechamber of the Major League.

It must be said that the small power forward was unlucky after leaving the college circuit, with a torn ACL in Summer League that torpedoed his future with the Pelicans. This summer, he was bounced from franchise to franchise as he was first transferred from the Pelicans to the Hawks as part of the Dejounte Murray trade. Then he was sent to the Suns, before finally being cut/
