After revealing the two opening night games, the Christmas posters and finally the menu of its NBA Cup, the NBA unveiled the full regular season schedule on Thursday. New this year: there are only 80 matches in this first version of the 2022/23 calendar since the two remaining matches will be added according to the results of the first mid-season tournament.
What we remember is that Victor Wembanyama will begin his NBA career on October 25. It will be at home, with the reception of the Mavericks by Luka Doncic. For Bilal Coulibaly, and it’s rather funny, it will be on the floor of the Pacers, the team that had selected him before trading him to the Wizards. This October 25, the day after the “opening night”, we will follow some beautiful posters like Knicks – Celtics, Nets – Cavaliers or Jazz – Kings.
The NBA has decided to highlight the first week of the regular season, called “opening week”, with 10 televised matches, and therefore 5 “double headers”.
