The countdown has begun less than a month before the All-Star Game, and today we will know the names of the five starters for each conference, 50% designated by the public, 25% by the media and 25% by the players. A few hours after this revelation, the NBA unveils the jerseys for the 2024 edition. For the return of the classic “East vs. West” opposition, Jordan Brand has opted for red and blue, also classic.
But it is the place and the history of Indianapolis and its franchise that inspired the making of the jerseys. We're going for a retro look with thin stripes to recall those of the Pacers, and pearly white lettering. It's even more striking for the warm-up jacket, which takes the cut of the jackets of the Hoosiers, the university team. The jerseys will go on sale this evening on the NBA Store.
We can also note among the details present on the jersey the presence of the “NBA All-Star 2024” logo or even five stars on each side of the jersey representing the five players from each team present on the field. The logo is also featured on the side of the shorts, surrounded by a large circle that pays homage to a downtown Indy landmark.
