Heel alert for Chris Paul

The Suns played the entire second half in Philadelphia (and lost) without Chris Paul. The point guard left his teammates in the second quarter, after only 14 minutes played and two points scored.

Why ? Because while trying to avoid a screen from Paul Reed, “CP3” hurt his right heel. A few seconds later, he joined the locker room, without returning afterwards.

“Believe me, if I could have played again, I would have done it”has explained for ESPN the former Houston, who agreed with the Suns not to return and play it safe.

The 2021 finalist was then reassuring about the seriousness of his injury, even if we will still have to wait to find out more to breathe definitively.

A simple pain or a short absence would obviously be good news as the Arizona franchise has already recorded the absence of Cameron Johnson for at least several weeks.

“It’s hard, because you never want to see a teammate get injured”comments Devin Booker. “Without him, the dynamic is no longer the same. But we remain a good team to find solutions. »
