Head to the Rockets for Dillon Brooks!

The Rockets achieved the free agency they dreamed of. Marc Stein had slipped three days ago that Houston was targeting Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks. After closing the Raptors point guard yesterday, Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that the Texas franchise had found a deal to secure the services of the Grizzlies winger. While a potential “sign-and-trade” had been mentioned, the agreement ultimately concerns an 80 million dollar contract over four years.

In any case, it’s one more big reinforcement on the wings, capable of providing both sides of the floor. With the arrival of Fred VanVleet, that of Jock Landale and potential adjustments between now and the resumption, Houston will have enough to make a big leap in the hierarchy in the West.
