Guerschon Yabusele could join Joel Embiid at the Sixers!

NBA – Drafted by the Celtics in 2016, Guerschon Yabusele is in advanced contact with the Sixers.

After his superb Olympic Games, Guershon Yabusele wanted a second chance in the NBA, and according to The Athleticit's the Sixers who could offer him! According to our colleagues, the French power forward would be in “serious discussions” with the Philadelphia franchise, and he would have already resolved his exit clause problem with Real Madrid. Let's remember that this clause was set at $2.5 million, and that NBA franchises can only pay a maximum of $850,000.

If the talks are successful, Yabusele would have a nice card to play since the Sixers have not replaced Tobias Harris at position 4, and for the moment, it is Caleb Martin, Kelly Oubre Jr. or even KJ Martin who could start at this position.

“You could say Kelly (Oubre Jr.), Caleb (Martin) and PG (Paul George) are all interchangeable from the 2 to the 4 position.”Nick Nurse replied last month. “I personally think there are wingers on the pitch, and that's how I see it.”

We imagine that the Frenchman had guarantees on his role and his playing time since he had warned, in January, that he would not leave Real to sit at the end of the bench in the NBA. “I don't want to spend seasons waiting to see if I'm going to play, like when I was in Boston or China,” he had announced. “I want to go back to the NBA, but I play for the best team in Europe and I win titles. Why leave that to polish a bench there? Maybe that's what young people do today, I've already given. This summer, the Blues will arrive directly after the end of the season so I'm not going to wait for the NBA. I'm waiting for the Games.”
