Nike has innovated for the GT Cut 3, taking inspiration from the second signature lines of major players (like the Giannis Immortality for Giannis Antetokounmpo or the LeBron Witness for LeBron James) to release a more affordable derivative version of the first one, called the GT Cut “Academy”.
The upper between mesh and leather is more simplistic, combined with a sole that is intended to be both comfortable and responsive to quick changes of direction and all types of support. The outsole accentuates this grip effect, while the midsole works more for comfort, with a Zoom Air unit placed at the forefoot, under two layers of foam superimposed as a midsole.

For its tenth colorway, the Nike GT Cut Academy benefits from the much-loved “Bred” colorway (for “Black” and “Red”), with a black and red upper, while the inside of the Swoosh on the vamp stands out in white. The sole appears red on the front and white on the back.
