Grizzlies still looking for a winger?

Between the announced departure of Dillon Brooks and the suspension of Ja Morant at the start of next season (25 games), namely two of their holders, the Grizzlies know that they will not have to remain inactive this summer to stay in the Top 4 of their conference. So, Hoopshype reports that they intend to strengthen on the wing in the coming weeks.

To do this, as Tennessee is not necessarily a popular destination for “free agents”, the leaders of Memphis would consider in particular to offer several rounds of Draft on the market, in exchange for a quality winger and likely to fill the void that Dillon Brooks will leave.

Why not OG Anunoby, who was already in the sights of the franchise at the time of the “trade deadline”, when it was seeking to solidify its position 3? At the time, Mikal Bridges was also in the sights of the Grizzlies but, since then, the future American international has changed in dimension and the Nets would logically no longer wish to part with it, despite the interest of some teams.

According to rumors, last February, Memphis tried to recover Mikal Bridges in exchange for four first rounds of the Draft (!) and we imagine that its GM, Zach Kleiman, will not hesitate to draw again to install the team among the strongholds of the West…
