Hard to find more enthusiastic than Gianmarco Pozzecco. Already eccentric when he was a player, to the point of being nicknamed “Poz” or “La Mosca Atomica” (The Atomic Fly), he has not lost his madness as a coach.
Against Serbia, the coach was expelled but his exit from the field (very long since he kissed everyone…) finally gave a boost to his players, who achieved the upset.
We can imagine him totally furious in the locker room when he saw the Italian team overthrow Serbia, and that was confirmed when he returned once the match was over.
He was even filmed jumping into the arms of Giannis Antetokounmpo to celebrate his team’s success!
