G League | A big performance and an exceptional dunk for Scoot Henderson

The distance duel between Victor Wembanyama and Scooter Hendersonpromised to the first two places in the next Draft, continues to be scrutinized even if the outcome is no longer really as uncertain as at the start of the season.

Like the first opposition, the meeting between Team G-League Ignite and Birmingham Squadron (affiliated with the Pelicans) will once again have been the scene of a contested match. And as in the first game between the two teams, Scoot Henderson shone, lining up 26 points with great efficiency (10/13 shooting), 6 rebounds and 8 assists.

The leader, who is heading for second place in the next Draft behind “Wemby” especially distinguished himself on one of his first shots, a lightning drive concluded by a devastating dunk on poor Feron Hurt.

Scoot Henderson then distinguished himself by his quality of passing and his speed of execution, in particular on transition play and his address near the circle. He also offered himself another tomar after having shaken off his direct defender, before concluding his match with a 3-point shot on his only attempt of the match.

At + 9 one minute from the end, Team Ignite still had a little scare in the last seconds since Zylan Cheatham had the opportunity to equalize on his last shot, without success (119-116).

Next game for Scoot Henderson and his team against the Santa Cruz Warriors tomorrow. The meeting will take place in Nevada, where the Ignite has settled down, in a city that bears its name well: Henderson…
