A few hours after the first big card (38 points, 10 rebounds) of Victor Wembanyama in the NBA, bein Sports announced that all matches of “Wemby” and Spurs would now be broadcast on its antennas!
A change of tone compared to what the channel declared in the preamble to the season, since it then said that it did not want to focus on the French…
But the power of attraction of “Wemby” is far too powerful to pass up. For the NBA, which chooses the matches broadcast on beIN Sports, it is also a way to expose the French as much as possible in France.
So far, only three of five matches San Antonio had been broadcast on beIN Sports, the official broadcaster of the NBA in France since 2012, and the 77 upcoming matches will therefore also be broadcast. It will start on Sunday evening, in European “prime time”: 9:30 p.m., against Toronto!
