Frenchman Max Lefevre moves up the ranks on the Wolves bench

THE Wolves announced promotions within their coaching staff. Among the promoted assistants, we find Max LefevreThe Frenchman will indeed become assistant coach to Chris Finch from next season.

Max Lefevre arrived in Minnesota in 2019, where he held various roles. First in the video sector to start, then in charge of player development. Before this experience in the NBA, we had seen him on the bench of Texas Tech or the University of Arkansas Little Rock in the NCAA.

For his sixth season with Wolves, the Frenchman will therefore, like Jeff Newton, who also becomes assistant coach this summer, be even closer to Chris Finch.

While there are certainly changes, the coach of Rudy Gobert and Anthony Edwards, two finalists at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris who will compete for the gold medal on Saturday night, is not changing his core. Indeed, he will still have at his side Micah Nori, who was his replacement during the playoffs after his injury, and also Elston Turner, Corliss Williamson, and then Pablo Prigioni and Kevin Hanson.
