Frank Vogel: “He’s pretty good at basketball, this Kevin Durant”

After three losses, the Suns’ plan in Detroit was quite simple: give the ball to Kevin Durant and find enough help to accompany him to return to victory.

In the absence of Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, the double MVP of the Finals (41 points on 14/27 shooting, 5 assists) thus signed his first match of the season with more than 40 points. It’s even his first of this kind in Phoenix, but his 66th in his career, which places him in 12th place in history in the category, now tied with Jerry West.

For his coach, Frank Vogel, Kevin Durant was just tired of losing, like the whole team.

” He is incredible “ explains the technician. “He really wanted her. He played low post, out of the pick-and-roll, on a fast play. It was truly an incredible performance. He’s pretty good at basketball, this Kevin Durant.”

Kevin Durant did not ignite. The force of habit, no doubt. At 35, he is doing what he does best to keep his team afloat while waiting for the return of his two friends, Devin Booker now having to deal with a calf problem after having to deal with a toe problem and then a sprained ankle…

The good news, however, is that Bradley Beal is very close to his real debut with the Suns, the presence of the former Wizard against Chicago, Wednesday evening, even being considered.
