Son of François Pinault and CEO of the luxury group Kering, François-Henri Pinault reached an agreement on Thursday to acquire a majority stake in the American artistic agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) from the private equity firm TPG.
This participation, of unknown amount, values the agency at $7 billion !
CAA is a true institution in the United States, and even around the world, since the company manages the careers of Steven Spielberg, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman in the cinema, but also hundreds of Artists like Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez and even Bob Dylan in the song. It is also the agency of Salma Hayek, who is none other than the wife of François Pinault’s son.
