For Luka Doncic, Giannis Antetokounmpo “is the best NBA player”

The Mavericks chained setbacks in their “road trip” to the East, but Luka Doncic chained compliments.

After explaining in Boston that the Tatum / Brown duo was “probably the best duo in the league”, the Slovenian sang the praises of Giannis Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee.

“It’s difficult to play against a guy like that”, explained Luka Doncic to reporters after the meeting. “He’s the best player in the NBA right now. It’s almost impossible to stop him. It’s really fun to watch him play, but it’s not so much fun to face him. »

For Luka Doncic, it is the constant improvement of the 2021 champion that is so impressive.

“He is improving every day. He works really hard, you can see that. He works on everything. He’s working on his shooting and he’s improved in a lot of areas. He is improving every day. »

A nice tribute from the league’s top scorer (33.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists), followed by the “Greek Freak” (30.9 points, 11.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists).

“No matter the wins or losses, being respected by your peers is always a good feeling”replied Giannis Antetokounmpo on the compliments of one of his opponents for the MVP trophy. “I always like to play against the best players in the league. He is an incredible player, an incredible talent, without doubt one of the most talented players I have seen in my life. It’s amazing what he does, for himself and his team. »
