Like every year, while waiting for “pink October”, Kevin Durant is participating in her own way in the campaign to prevent and screen for breast cancer. The Suns superstar embraced this mobilization following the death of her aunt, honoring her memory each year with a colorway bearing her name: “Aunt Pearl.” The tradition has continued since the KD 4 and the KD 17 will not deviate from the rule this season.
The first images of the “Aunt Pearl” colorway of Kevin Durant's 17th signature shoe have been revealed, featuring a pale pink upper with the “Swoosh” in two slightly darker shades of pink. The back of the shoe and the heel are matched with floral patterns, with the inscription “AP” on the left shoe, using the same typography as the “KD” logo, present on the heel of the right shoe but also on the tongue. The whole rests on a pink midsole.
The pair does not yet have an official release date. We can imagine a release towards the end of October, for the opening of the NBA season. Its price should be around $160.
