The incident took place at the end of the meeting lost by the Warriors, on the floor of the Suns on Wednesday.
The strong winger had remained in the game for 17 minutes, the time to score only 2 small points with a lot of waste (1/7 shooting), to take 2 rebounds, and above all to collect 4 personal fouls. He was disappointed after one of his screens, deemed mobile, sanctioned one minute from the end.
His address has been a real concern since the start of the season. The substitute brings 5 points on average in 17 minutes so far but with his worst statistics in career level success (only 41% including 23% by far).
Before this game against the Suns, and another against the Spurs, he had had his first three “DNPs” of the season. Steve Kerr has announced his desire to make him play more but as a substitute pivot, probably at least for the time of James Wiseman’s passage in the G-League, and no longer as a strong winger.
