While Vincent Collet and his staff prepare for the 2024 Olympic Games, qualifications for EuroBasket 2025 also begin. In Group E with Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Cyprus, the Blues will play their first meeting against Croatia at the “Brest Arena”, on Friday February 23, 2024, at 8:30 p.m.
The Blues will then play in Tuzla, Bosnia-Herzegovina, on February 26.
For the two meetings of this first window, the coach of the Blues, Vincent Collet, and the General Manager of the men's selection, Boris Diaw, revealed a list of thirteen players and two training partners, called to participate in the course which will begin on Monday February 19 in Finistère.
We thus note the return ofAndrew Albicy to the lead and Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, determined to redeem himself to obtain his place for the Olympics. We also note the arrival of young people, Jaylen Hoard, Nadir Hifi, Matthew Strazel And Zacharie Risacherwho therefore take the plunge with the A, with Melvin Ajinca And Neal Sako and training partners.
As a reminder, Euro 2025 will be played in Latvia, Cyprus, Finland and Poland in September 2025.
