ESPN and ABC reveal their new trios to the comments

One year from the renegotiation of TV rights with the NBA, the ABC / ESPN tandem has unveiled his plan for the coming season, and we can speak of a mini-revolution since Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson were pushed towards the exit. As announced for several weeks, it is Doc Rivers who will comment on the main posters alongside Doris Burke and the irremovable Mike Breen. Burke is the first woman to hold such a high position.

This trio will have Lisa Salters courtside, and they’ll be on the mic for the Christmas Day posters, the playoffs, the Eastern Conference Finals, the NBA Finals, and the “NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC” fixtures. All programs will be hosted by Malika Andrews, already at the helm of NBA Today and NBA Countdown, and special programs such as the sets before the Finals meetings.

Hubie Brown at the microphone at 90!

The network has confirmed the arrival of former Warriors GM Bob Myers as a consultant, and the second trio of commentators will consist of Ryan Ruocco, JJ Redick and Richard Jefferson. They will be at the helm of the program “NBA Sunday Showcase” on ABC.

Another confirmation: the maintenance of Hubie Brown on the air! At 90, the former Pacers and Grizzlies coach will begin his 20th season with ESPN and his 50th season in the NBA.
