A “very talented” team lacking “cohesion”
Starting 24 times, but more often a member of the second unit in which he had an improvised leadership role, Eric Gordon recorded 11 points at 38% 3-point success. A decent season but nothing more. Enough to make him think about the future since he has a “player option” at $3.4 million.
“There’s no way I’m going to make my decision now.”whispered the veteran in The Arizona Republic after elimination. “I'm just going to enjoy the offseason, watch a lot of these games [qui restent à jouer] and see what will happen. Eric Gordon has until June 29 to activate, or not, this clause, and perhaps he is waiting for his end-of-season interview with his managers, or to find out if Frank Vogel will be kept in office, before making his choice .
