Last summer, Drew Eubanks had joined the Suns for $5 million over two years. But the second season was a “player option” and the 27-year-old could therefore test free agency this summer.
And according to information from ESPNthat’s what the former Spurs and Blazers player will do.
Drew Eubanks will therefore be free to sign wherever he wishes after a season averaging 5.1 points (60% success) and 4.3 rebounds in 15 minutes of play. During which he was a very useful back-up behind Jusuf Nurkic.
“The whole franchise wants me to come back next year and I want to be a Phoenix Suns player next year.”, he explained recently. Except that the financial room for maneuver of the franchise is very limited. “I will make the best decision for my family and myself when the time comes”he concluded.
