Draft 2024 | The first choice of the Draft for the Hawks!

Before Game 4 between the Pacers and the Knicks, the NBA held its traditional “lottery” in Chicago, which determines the order of the next Draft, which will be held on June 26 and 27, with the jackpot: the first Draft choice!

After the Spurs in 2023, it's the Hawks who hit the jackpot, and yet they only had 3% of recovering the first pick. This is only the second time the Hawks have obtained the first pick in the Draft. The first time was in 1975! They are followed by the Wizards and the Rockets, other big winners of the evening with this 3rd place.

One more Frenchman at Spurs?

The Spurs, with the 4th and 8th picks, should liven up Draft night, and we can expect them to trade one of their picks for a very good playmaker. We will also watch the “French Connection” since San Antonio will undoubtedly be able to select Alexandre Sarr or Zaccharie Risacher with their 4th choice. The big losers are, once again, the Pistons, and for the 6th year in a row, the worst record of the regular season does not obtain the first choice.
