Among the best French prospects of the 2005 generation, Pacôme Dadiet did not experience the same exposure as his friends Zaccharie Risacher and Alexandre Sarr. Member of the best five of the Next Generation Tournament, a sort of junior Euroleague in 2022, Dadiet subsequently had to be patient, the fault of a dispute between his club in Paris and that of Ulm, in Germany, to which he wanted to be transferred. It was ultimately within the overseas team, which had trained Killian Hayes, and where another young Tricolor Noa Essengue was burgeoning, that the youth international made his debut.
Increasingly more and more responsible over the season in the German championship as well as in the Eurocup – he scored 14 and 15 points at Bourg-en-Bresse in Risacher – Pacôme Dadiet especially increased his rating during the “European” Draft Combine in Treviso. His physical development and his profile make him a potential fourth Frenchman expected in the first round this year.

Strong points
– The offensive baggage. Rather referenced as a shooter, or even a potential “3&D”, Dadiet is more complete than he seems. who played point guard younger, and began to be used in sequences at post 4 in Ulm this season. Solid at 3-point catch-and-shoot (nearly 39%), he is as active without the ball as he is capable of making a difference with the ball in hand. He added to his arsenal with big improvements in offensive rebounding this season.
– Physical potential. Pacôme Dadiet continues to gain centimeter after centimeter and now really exceeds 2m. Above all, the Frenchman seems to have a body made to gain muscle, having already gained weight since his departure from France. Strong, especially in the shoulders, Dadiet is ahead of many 18-year-old players entering the Draft.
Weakness
– Defense. Dadiet also spares no effort on this side of the floor. He still has to polish his fundamentals to bring them into line with the ceiling that his size can offer him. He often tends to over-anticipate off-ball rotations and can do better in reading screens.

If he manages to maximize his potential, there is Keldon Johnson in Pacôme Dadiet, or even Norman Powell with more centimeters.
Prognosis
Between the end of the 1st round and the start of the 2nd round. Dadiet could benefit from one more season in Europe with more playing time and responsibility.
