Draft 2023 | Nadir Hifi is committed to Paris Basketball

We don’t know if he will be drafted but Nadir Hifi chose to imitate Juhann Begarin and Ismael Kamagate, and to join Paris Basketball, which has become a nursery for some of the best French hopefuls.

At 20, the Portel leader has signed up for three years, and he remains on the best season of his young career with 16.8 points, 3.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 interceptions on average (at 47% in shooting, including 35 % at 3-pointers, and 84% at shots). Registered in the Draft where his name circulates for a place in the second round, he had precisely done very badly to the Parisians with 39 points, his personal best.

“At this stage of my career, I really think this is the best of the project so that I can continue my evolution” explained the Strasbourg nativewhile Amary Sy, the sports director, assures that Paris Basketball will serve as a springboard.

Tested by Blazers and Kings

“He’s a young French player with a lot of talent, with an unfailing mind and state of mind. Very hardworking, he has come a long way with an atypical career. He always fought to have his place. And today, by signing for Paris Basketball, these two ambitions come together, it’s the perfect marriage. Nadir will evolve at the same time as the club”.

It remains to be seen who will be the coach who will accompany him in his progress since Will Weaver left Paris to return to the NBA.
