It has been two years since the career of Willie Cauley-Stein skating in the NBA. In 2021/2022, he had only played 20 matches, then last season he never managed to come into play despite a chance offered by the Rockets, showing himself especially in the G-League.
His future in the NBA therefore seemed blocked and that is why he decided to look towards Europe. He has just signed in Italy, with Pallacanestro Varese.
The interior (29 years old) therefore leaves the Great League after 422 matches, including a majority at the Kings with whom he played his best seasons, and with averages of 8.7 points and 5.9 rebounds.
