Devin Vassell will miss the start of the season

One by one, the franchises hold their “media day”, and it is an opportunity to take stock of the infirmary. At Spurs, three players appear in the medical staff reportand we discover that Devin Vassell will be absent from the training camp and even from the resumption of the season.

We learned that the San Antonio guard had surgery on his right foot during the summer, and he will be back, at best, on November 1st. The franchise specifies that he is participating in non-contact exercises, and that he will be examined by the staff in more than a month.

Last season, Vassell played 68 games averaging 19.5 points, 4.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds, and he missed the end of the season due to a stress fracture in his right foot. During theend of season interviewhe explained that cold and rest would be enough to treat his injury, and that he was aiming for 82 matches for the coming season.

Finally, he moved on to billiards and at best, he will miss five games…
