Even though the Warriors and the Nets had agreed since yesterday, it was only today that the transfer of Dennis Schröder towards Golden State could be made official by the Bay franchise.
It's that De’Anthony Meltonwho is going the opposite way (even though he is injured for the whole season…) was signed last summer and was therefore only transferable from December 15. He leaves for Brooklyn with Reece Beckmana back on a “two-way contract”, as well as three draft picks in the second round.

The arrival of Reece Beekman also means that the Nets will finally cut Cui Yongxi, injured for the year.
For the Warriors, this transfer is in any case not expensive for a player who still averages 18.4 points and 6.6 assists, with a 45% success rate including 39% from distance, this season.
