Dennis Rodman's daughter Trinity Rodman sends USA to semi-finals

“This is the greatest moment of my career. I couldn't have dreamed of anything better.” This is the reaction of Trinity Rodmanwho scored the winning goal to send the United States to the semi-finals. The Americans waited until the 105th minute, and that superb strike into the top corner from Dennis Rodman's daughter, to defeat Japan at the Parc des Princes.

On Tuesday, the same day as LeBron James' teammates, Rodman's teammates will challenge Germany in Lyon for a place in the final.

The last time the United States scored a goal in a knockout match was in the 2012 semi-finals of the London Games. “Was it a match that had every chance of going to penalties? Yes, absolutely,” responded American coach Emma Hayeswho praised Japan's tactics. Their bouldering is the best in the world. They forced us to be very patient, which was the most needed skill today… [Le tir de Rodman] It was a world-class finish. It was a magnificent goal!”

Trinity Rodman, 22, plays for the Washington Spirit, and in 2022, she became the highest-paid player in the history of the championship. A forward, she was nominated for the Women's Golden Ball. Remember that Dennis Rodman's son, DJ Rodman, who played with Bronny James at USC, was tested by the Warriors last June before the Draft.
