Dennis Lindsey still in the Pistons' sights?

The big maneuvers continue in the Pistons offices. We know that Trajan Langdon arrived to occupy the position of president, notably by recruiting his former teammate JR Holden. And among the candidates targeted before the arrival of the leader of the Pelicans, there was Dennis Lindsey.

The latter, currently a consultant for the Mavericks, would still be in the sights of the Michigan franchise, according to information from Marc Steinwell informed when we talk about the 2024 finalists.

Dennis Lindsey has a very interesting profile since he worked with the Spurs, as assistant GM, then especially with the Jazz, as GM between 2012 and 2019. The recruitments of Quin Snyder, Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, it was therefore him .

He was even named vice-president of the franchise in 2019, before a controversy (against a backdrop of racist remarks) with Elijah Millsap, and a step back at Utah. Finally, he will bounce back as a consultant with Dallas since 2023.

As Mavericks GM Nico Harrison was recently extended, the former Jazz man cannot hope for this position in Dallas. Perhaps he will then be seduced by a place in the Pistons offices, to help turn around the franchise, mired in poor results for many years.
