Dennis Lindsey joins the Pistons offices

More than two weeks ago, the name of Dennis Lindsey was mentioned on the Detroit side, to come and support Trajan Langdon, new president of the Pistons for a few weeks.

This is a rumor now confirmed by ESPN : Dennis Lindsey will become the vice-president of the Pistons, in charge of the sports part. Clearly, he becomes the right arm of the new strong man of the franchise.

The one who was advisor to Nico Harrison, the GM of the Mavericks, this season is thus the third recruit in the offices of the Michigan franchise since the former leader of the Pelicans took power, after the arrivals of Michael Blackstone and JR Holden, an old acquaintance of Trajan Langdon since the two men played together at CSKA Moscow.

With his experience at Spurs and Jazz, Dennis Lindsey presents an interesting profile for the young Pistons who are in the process of rebuilding. He took on the role of GM of the Jazz in 2012 and, with the arrivals of Quin Snyder, Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, he made the Salt Lake City franchise a strong place in the Western Conference.
