Deni Avdija out of pre-Olympic qualifying tournament in August

bad news for Israelwho will not be able to count on the services of Deni Avdija from August 12 to 20, for its pre-Olympic qualifying tournament in Poland and Estonia.

A mandatory step for the nations which have not yet qualified for the next Olympic Games in Paris, which must then win this pre-TQO in order to obtain the right to then compete in the Olympic qualifying tournament next July.

The Israeli Federation talk about a hip injury, without saying more. We only know that the Wizards asked their player, in the last year of his contract at the start of the school year, to forfeit.

In Group A of this pre-TQO, Israel will face the Czech Republic, North Macedonia and Estonia.
