The two indeed rubbed shoulders ten years ago, when DeMarre Carroll was still a player and Darvin Ham was starting his career as an assistant coach.
They notably collaborated from 2013 to 2015 in Atlanta, with a historic 2014/15 season at the key (the best in franchise history), ending in first place in the regular season with 60 wins for 22 losses.
In turn, DeMarre Carroll36, took his first steps last season as an assistant in Milwaukee, under the orders of Mike Budenholzer who was none other than the main coach of the Hawks from 2013 to 2015.
