Dejounte Murray also joins the Hawks infirmary

Already deprived of De’Andre Hunter and John Collins, the Hawks lost a third starter last night in the loss to the Knicks as Dejounte Murray twisted his ankle after just three minutes. The former Spurs point guard will not return immediately as the exams revealed a nice sprain, and he will be out for at least two weeks.

Arrived this summer from San Antonio, Murray forms with Trae Young one of the best back duos in the NBA, and he quickly imposed himself with 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.8 steals on average.

To replace him in the starting lineup, Nate McMillan will rely on Aaron Holiday and keep Bogdan Bogdanovic as the sixth man. It was the option chosen Wednesday in the second half against the Knicks.
