Enthusiastic about evolving alongside the “cheatcode” Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard will have the opportunity to wear the jersey for the first time Bucks this Sunday evening (1:00 a.m.), against the Lakers. A meeting which will take place in Los Angeles.
This was confirmed this Wednesday by Adrian Griffin, the new coach of Milwaukee, on the set of the NBA Today showwhile both players have yet to play in preseason.
“Our practices are extremely competitive, so we had the opportunity to go head-to-head with them, and they did not disappoint. The more opportunities we have to play them together, the better. This Sunday is the next step, to see them on the field in a real match. These are exciting times for us, but once again, it’s part of the “process” and we take it step by step”confided the Bucks strategist, who insisted on the competitiveness of the Bucks’ training sessions so far.
A warm-up which will allow us, ten days before the start of the new campaign, to have a first glimpse of the XXL association between Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who averaged 63.3 points cumulatively last season…
